"Krichim" is a dam in southern Bulgaria. It is located on the Vača River, in the lands of the town of Krichim and the villages of Ravnogor and Zhrebicko, occupying the narrow valley of the river for about 4 kilometers. It is part of the last fifth stage of the "Dospat-Vacha" cascade, owned by the National Electric Company. It was built in the period from 1963 to 1972.

The dam wall is a concrete gravity dam with a height of 104.5 meters and a crown length of 270 meters. The spillway is in its central part and has 3 overflow fields of 10.5 meters with a total capacity of 2060 m³/s and a rapid flow along the air slope of the wall. The main outlet has a capacity of 68 m³/s and allows the complete draining of the dam in 3.4 days. The dam lake has an area of 0.8 km² and a total stored volume of 20.3 million cubic meters.

The dam is fed by the waters of the Vacha Dam, processed by the Orpheus Hydroelectric Power Plant. They enter it along the bed of the Vacha River, which is partially corrected with a reverse slope, so that the Orpheus Hydroelectric Power Plant can pump part of the waters of the Krichim Dam. The Churinska Collection Derivation also flows into the dam, transferring part of the waters of the Churinska River to it. The waters from the dam are supplied along two separate routes - to the Krichim Hydroelectric Power Plant, which is also used for irrigation, and to the Vacha 2 Hydroelectric Power Plant, which is also used for water supply.

It is known among fishermen for the presence of Balkan trout, rainbow trout, whitefish, perch, river mullet, grayling, crucian carp, sunfish, rudd, black barbel, carp and pike.
