The town of Samokov is located in the eastern part of the Samokov valley and offers fantastic views of several mountains - Rila, Plana, Vitosha, Verila and Ihtimanska Sredna Gora.

The Iskar River and its two tributaries flow through the town.
The parks of Samokov are incredibly beautiful and wonderfully green. The walk around "Kraiiskarets" is an incomparable pleasure!
